Different types of hauntings

Before I cover the logical and paranormal explanation of what are ghosts. In this post, I will talk about the different types of ghosts.

Without further ado, let’s get into this.

Residual Haunting 

This is when repeating the same action that a person did when they were alive. Usually, this can cause someone dying a violent death. Where a large among of energy is released, leaving this imprint of the moment of death.

The ghost of Gettysburg is a famous example of this. Residual doesn’t have to be visual. It can be audio too. So if you have a recorder or a spirited box and you not getting any intelligent response to your questions. It could be the voices of people from the past on repeat.

Intelligent Haunting

This is the type of haunting ghost hunters hop to get on their investigations. To have something from the other side, respond to a question in a relevant matter or to have an action performed on command. However, I say something on the other side because it may not be a person. You don’t know who you are talking to. Be careful when striking up a conversation. You never know who you are talking to.

 Poltergeist

German for nosey sprites. These sprites make items move. It could be from a ghost or a person living in the household, usually, a teen undergoing surveyor stress that triggers psychic kinetic energy (PK).

Shadow People

Many people have said they have seen shadow people. What are they? Why do so many people see them? The common acceptance is there associated with sleep paralysis yet, paranormal investigators see them on ghost hunts.

There are some articles that say shadow people have been spotted for centuries. However, I can not find any folklore. I have my own theories and I will save them for another post.



Demonic

Demonic processions are known to be rare. At first, these haunting may just be ghost or poltergeist hauntings. Going on long enough with no intervention, a demon will take procession. Either of a person or an object. How a demonic haunting may occur. (see my video from the post The Demonologist for more information). 

That is it. There are more types of hauntings like jinn and elemental. However I didn't include these because I don't know much about them. 

This is just  the basic run down. Later in the future I will write a more detail post on each haunting. mention here.
